THE FOOD

At Laurel's Catering we make most all of our food from scratch using the finest and freshest ingredients available. And although we offer all types of cuisines, there's a special place in our hearts for Cal-Mediterranean fare. We work with a select group of vendors who are as passionate about their work as we are to ours.

Whether it's fall off the bone baby back ribs for a summer barbecue, a hearty roast tenderloin for a winter dinner or a light spring salad, we pledge to make every dish the very best it can be. We do this by testing ingredients and refining techniques until we are confident it’s ready for the palate that counts the most: yours.

If we don’t believe the dish is delicious it won't make it to your plate.

THE PRESENTATION

We realize that "the eyes dine first." That's why we'll go the extra step to find just the right napkin design for your place setting or the perfect garnish for your tray of hors d’oeuvres. From the first appetizer to the last morsel of dessert, we expect impeccable execution on every plate. We want to hear you say “wow!” when we present our food to you. That’s why we style out our platters with a flair for color and decorate our tables with a keen eye. We believe that somehow the food tastes just a little bit better that way.

To us, cleanliness is an absolute requirement; spotless silverware and glistening glassware a must. We know that anything less can change the tone of an event and that the biggest impressions are often made by tending to the smallest details.

Our service begins with the very first phone call. From the menu planning, to meeting your budget, to site set-up, we'll work with you as a partner to help make the event you imagined a reality. We'll work to find that unique and unforgettable appetizer or recreate a family favorite you haven't had in years.

On the day of your event our service staff is trained to accommodate your needs with a personalized touch, to anticipate rather than react. To know who has the vegetarian plate and what table needs the high-chair. Whether it's a formal dinner for twenty or a business function for 200, we want to earn the right to be your preferred caterer.
